Earthlock: Festival of Magic re-appeared on Kickstarter earlier this month, and since then the crowdfunding campaign has seen an incremental, arduous battle to get the necessary funding in order for the game to be made. Their funding goal is $150,000 dollars, and they’re currently sitting at roughly $82,000 dollars, and with roughly two weeks to go, they’re basically at the half way point.
Shown above, the team at Snowcastle Games have revealed a new trailer for the game at the annual Game Developer’s Conference. Needless to say, the game looks better than ever, and looks very polished already, despite it being in an early build. The game features lots of classic RPG mechanics, as well as lots of more recent inventions creators have been adding to the genre, like robust crafting, or even re-inventing classic turn based combat.
Unlike many other Kickstarter funded games, if Festival of Magic is funded, it will come to a multitude of platforms. Instead, the developers will simply add a bevy of new content with each goal, like new temple dungeons, new playable characters, and so on. If you want to pledge to Earthlock: Festival of Magic, head on over to their Kickstarter campaign.
