D3 Publisher has launched a new Earth Defense Force website to celebrate the series’ 20th anniversary.

The new Earth Defense Force 20th anniversary website comes alongside a new trailer celebrating all the titles in the series.

The very first game in the series was the 2003-released game Monster Attack, which developer Sandlot made as part of D3 Publisher’s “Simple” series of budget-games.

Beginning June 26, 2003, the “Earth Defense Force” series celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, starting with “The Earth Defense Force” released as part of the “SIMPLE 2000 Series” lineup.

Let’s look back at the history of all the EDF games, up to the latest numbered title: “Earth Defense Force 6”.
