Earnest Evans Collection delays PlayStation versions over “urgent revision”

Earnest Evans Collection

Edia has announced a partial delay for their Earnest Evans Collection, classic games from Telenet’s old Wolf Team before they made the Tales of franchise.

Earnest Evans Collection is forgoing its previously planned December 25th release on PS4 and PS5 for one earlier next year – on February 19th, 2026. The PlayStation versions had to be delayed over a sudden issue that requires “urgent revisions.” The Switch version is still launching on Christmas.

As covered in our previous reporting, the new Earnest Evans Collection will include three Wolf Team classics: El Viento (1991), Earnest Evans (1991), and Anett Futatabi (1993). While the former two games were released in the west, the third was never released outside of Japan.

This is Niche Imports. In this column, we regularly cover games that haven’t been announced for western audiences yet.
