E3 2019 VR Showcase Announced, Set for June 10

Media publication Upload have announced they will be broadcasting The E3 VR Showcase.

While press conferences not centered around one company have occurred at E3 before (such as the PC Gaming Show and the Kinda Funny Game Showcase), this is the first time such an event has been focused purely around VR at E3.

The showcase itself sounds akin to Nintendo Directs or Sony’s State of Play videos; a pre-recorded video showing trailers and announcements back to back. Though there will also be behind-the-scenes looks at VR developer’s work on the most popular VR projects.

The broadcast will begin on June 10th at 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET via Upload VR’s YouTube channel.

The E3 2019 schedule so far includes:

  • June 9th:
    • Microsoft – 1:00 p.m. PT / 4:00 p.m. ET
    • Bethesda Softworks – 5:30 p.m. PT / 8:30 p.m. ET
  • June 10th:
    • E3 VR Showcase –  9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET
    • PC Gaming Show – 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET
    • Limited Run Games – 12:00 p.m. PT / 3:00 p.m. ET
    • Ubisoft – 1:00 p.m. PT / 4:00 p.m. ET
    • Square Enix – 6:00 p.m. PT / 9:00 p.m. ET
