Tripwire Interactive has revealed the first trailer for their upcoming shark RPG Maneater since last year’s E3.

Players will take on the role of a giant shark hunting their prey along the Gulf Coast.

The new trailer, as seen above, also shows off Scaly Pete (voice by Chris Parnell) that acts as the game’s main antagonist and host of the fictional wildlife show, Shark Hunters vs Maneaters.

Here’s a rundown of the game:

Experience the ultimate power fantasy as the apex predator of the seas – a giant Shark! Terrorize the coastal waterways. Tear swimmers and divers limb from limb, give the humans a reason to fear you!

Maneater is a Single-Player Action RPG, set in the Gulf Coast’s unforgiving waters. Fight to survive in the open ocean, swamps and rivers with danger lurking at every depth. Your only tools are your wits, your jaws, and an uncanny ability to evolve as you feed. Eat. Grow. Evolve!

Maneater doesn’t have a release date yet, but will be an Epic Games Store exclusive.
