E3 2016 Partially Opens to the Public With E3 Live Event

The Entertainment Software Association – the folks behind every year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, have announced a new event completely focused on opening the show up to the public.

Dubbed E3 Live, the new event will take place just outside the Los Angeles Convention Center at LA Live. Fans will be able to spend three days at the event getting hands-on time with games, sample live music, meet developers, and even buy some “exclusive” merchandise.

Tickets at the event will be free, however you’ll need to register in advance to secure one. The included games to be demoed were not confirmed at this time. The actual showfloor will still remain open to only members/affiliates of the games industry or press.

This year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo is set to kick off on Tuesday, June 14th.
