Publisher and developer Techland announced Dying Light 2 sold 5 million copies within its first month, while the first Dying Light sold way more thus far.
While Dying Light 2 sold 5 million copies within the first month of release, the original Dying Light has sold over 20 million copies since it released.
New content for Dying Light 2 has been rolling out, with more planned in the future including “some highly requested features.” Expect a reveal for new content in the next week.
“The success of the Dying Light franchise is a great example of the unforgettable experiences we create for our players,” said Techland CEO Paweł Marchewka.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human is now available for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch via Cloud.
