Indie developer Catalyst Games has revealed a new trailer and a playable demo for Dungeons and Dining Tables, their cozy adventure life-sim RPG where you delve dungeons and build a home.

Dungeons and Dining Tables is getting a playable demo during Steam Next Fest – February 2026 Edition from February 23rd through March 2nd.

Here’s a rundown on the game, plus the new trailer:

Dungeons and Dining Tables is a Cozy-Adventure RPG where you play as an Axolotl on a quest to decorate their house and defeat the termites out to eat their furniture! Delve dungeons to collect rare furniture, take that furniture back to your home to decorate and the cosier your house is, the higher your stats! Go forth and drive the grumpiness from the land: your perfect home is just a dungeon away! Oh, and you play as an axolotl

• Explore Dungeons – Randomly generated dungeons to explore with puzzles to complete, enemies to defeat and rare furniture loot to collect. Travel through the World Tree, take on new rogue-like challenges and defeat bosses for the most epic of furnishings (maybe even a Legendary Bed of Maximum Health!)
• Decorate Your Abode – Furniture collected on a dungeon run can be used to decorate not only your humble home but also the homes of the cute and quirky characters of the Town of Kindlerest! Decorating your home will give you comfy points that are used to level up your house, improve player stats, upgrade shops and other quality of life features for your dungeon runs. 
• Build a Community – Uncover a story about kindness, compassion and community by helping each of the townsfolk with their fear and insecurities and doing battle with their alter egos. Learn about the Town of Kindlerest, an old tailor named Percy, his adventuring buddies, and a spiky villain who really just needs a hug!

Dungeons and Dining Tables is in development for Windows PC (via Steam), though a release date wasn’t announced.
