Remember that alpha test for Dungeon Fighter Online, that’s in English, and open to westerners? Well, it seems like it really got the attention of the folks at Neople, as they’ve decided to officially launch the game in the west.

Despite the amazing news, Neople did not mention an official release date in their confirmation, which came via their official Facebook. This is mostly because they want to update the game beforehand, and they mentioned that the alpha was running an outdated version of the game. Their estimates on when we could expect the official launch were that it might take “more than a few weeks.”

If you’ve been playing the alpha, you get to keep your character name and level – no wiping of servers will be happening! However, you don’t get to keep your gear, but this is definitely better than having to completely restart.

Things got really interesting when the CEO of Neople, In Lee, who also took to the game’s official Facebook page to applaud the fans who played the game. From what it sounds like, Neople are looking to self publish the game in the West, and that despite their assessment of the alpha being “not favorable,” they decided to give it another chance.

The alpha will end on June 13th, 6PM Korean time. We’ll keep you guys posted!
