Shiro Games have released some new information about House Corrino, the next faction coming soon to Dune: Spice Wars.

House Corrino is led by His Imperial Majesty, the Padishah Emperor of the Known Universe Shaddam IV, and he is not pleased to be forced to come to a backwater planet like Arrakis to enforce his will.

House Corrino was teased a while back, and now there is a bit more information about them and their mechanics.  The 81st Padishah Emperor has brought four councilors with him, each of which have their own unique mechanics, as well as the terrifying and elite legions of Sardaukar.

While House Corrino’s military might is formidable, they have a vast array of unique political options in Dune: Spice Wars that, though powerful, come with their own responsibilities. House Corrino receives taxes and bribes from all the other factions on Arrakis, but must also pay their own fees to the Spacing Guild to keep them satisfied for the benefit of everyone.

Dune: Spice Wars is now available in Early Access for Windows PC via Steam.
