Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment shared a new trailer for Dune: Part Two, and it certainly makes up for the film’s delay.
The new trailer gives a look at returning protagonist Paul Atreides (played by Timothée Chalamet), his love interest Chani (Zendaya), Lady Jessica Atreides (Rebecca Ferguson), and Gurney (Josh Brolin). New characters/actors are teased like Lea Seydoux, Austin Butler, and most notably Christopher Walken.
“Dune: Part Two will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a path of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family,” the movie’s description reads. “Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.”
As mentioned, Dune: Part Two is obviously a direct sequel to 2021 film Dune, which itself is a reboot of the 1984 film by David Lynch. All of the film adaptations are based on the legendary novel series by Frank Herbert.
Here’s the new trailer:
Dune: Part Two premieres first via international theaters on February 28th, 2024 and on March 1st in North American theaters.
