Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed a new version of Driveclub for PlayStation VR.

The new version is dubbed simply Driveclub VR, and it will launch alongside the virtual reality headset on October 13th.

The new VR mode will provide a new experience complete with a cockpit view in the PlayStation VR helmet, as well as 3D audio. There will also be new courses, and a mode where you can oogle the cars from different angles.

This announcement has only been made by Sony’s Japanese branch, however, former Evolution Studios staff have corroborated the story.

It remains unclear if this is an entirely new release, or simply an update to the existing release of Driveclub. We’ll keep you guys posted.
