We’ve known about Drinkbox Studios’ amputation simulator, Severed, although the game was previously only confirmed for mobile.

The Guacamelee developer hasn’t released Severed yet, but it’s now coming to Playstation Vita as well. Featured above, you can view a brand new trailer for the game, which gives you an idea of the glorious amputation mechanics.

In Severed, you play as the one armed heroine that wields a living sword. Players are enabled to slice and dice through their enemies with touch-based techniques, although you’re also able to utilize defensive abilities.

A specific release date wasn’t confirmed, but we know it’s coming next spring.
