While a release date is still nowhere in sight, developer Media Molecule has reconfirmed a playable beta for their latest title, Dreams, is coming still coming this year.
The game will get a playable beta sometime later this year – news confirmed in a blog post from the developer.
“Our next stream, taking place on Wednesday, November 28 at 5:00 p.m. BST, will be one of our ever fabulous Kareem Dreams Livestreams!” the blog post reads. “But, this time round there’s a twist – Kareem [Ettouney, one of the founders of Media Molecule] will be building a world for YOU to play around in when the Dreams beta launches later this year. It’ll be available in the Dreamiverse for you to build on or remix as you see fit.”
In terms of what to expect from Kareem in world building – Media Molecule is hosting a Twitter poll to suss out a final verdict. The four options are: dystopian, surrealism, high fantasy, and alien.
Dreams is being developed for PlayStation 4.
