• Dragon Quest X Online 7.0 expansion announced, Wii U and 3DS versions shutting down

    Square Enix has announced Dragon Quest X Online expansion 7.0 alongside news older versions of the MMO are getting shut down.

    The new expansion, titled “The Door to the Future and the Slumbering Girl”, is launching sometime in 2024 for Japan. More details will come after the 6.0 content reaches its conclusion.


    Square Enix also confirmed the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of the MMO are shutting down on March 20th, 2024.

    Dragon Quest X Online has been available for Wii U, 3DS, PC, Switch, PS4, and browsers in Japan.
