The Nintendo 3DS remake of Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past has gotten somewhat of a delay.
The game was previously set for an “early summer” release on the handheld, only to now be delayed to “late 2016,” news announced in today’s Nintendo Direct broadcast.
Square Enix is naturally updating the game’s visuals, alongside completely re-translating the game. Fans can also expect visible enemy encounters, with some new additions as well.
The 3DS remake of the game’s sequel, Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, is coming sometime thereafter.
