Square Enix has announced Dragon Quest of the Stars for smartphones.

The game is a free-to-play game that features character customization, as well as a focus on exploration and battling. You can view more of the game over on its official website.

Players will be able to explore maps within stars that are in the shape of their star counterparts. You can fight and level your characters, while also customizing them as you progress.

Dragon Quest of the Stars is launching some time later this year, in Japan, for both iOS and Android devices.
