Dragon Quest Heroes‘ voice cast has been unveiled, and it is really impressive. Featuring the voices of huge names like Miyuki Sawashiro, Hiroshi Kamiya, and Rie Kugimiya (all of whom have to many great roles to pick one example), the voice cast looks (and sounds) to be amazing. Here’s the line-up:
- Akuto (the game’s male main character) – Tori Matsuzaka
- Meer (the game’s female main character) – Mirei Kiritani
- Alena – Shoko Nakagawa
- Kiryl – Hikaru Midorikawa
- Maya Mahabala – Miyuki Sawashiro
- Terry – Hiroshi Kamiya
- King Dirk – Banjo Ginga
- Julietta – Mikako Komatsu
- Homiron – Rie Kugimiya
- Jessica – Ayana Taketatsu
- Yangus – Fumihiko Tachiki
- Bianca – Marina Inoue
- Nera – Kana Hanazawa
In addition to the Seiyuu list, the game’s release date was announced as February 26th. While the game will be available on both PS3 and PS4, the PS3 version will be set to run at 30fps, while the PS4 version will clock in at 60fps. That’s a rather sizable difference, so if you decide to pick up the game, keep it in mind.

Also confirmed today was the release date for the Metal Slime Edition PlayStation 4 bundle. The console comes with the Metal Slime, a silver Dragon Quest-themed PlayStation 4 with a 500GB harddrive, a silver controller, 15 days of PlayStation Plus, and a product code to get Dragon Quest Heroes a day before its official release date.
[Editor’s note: the cast list has been updated as more information has been revealed.]
