Dragon Ball FighterZ Switch Version Possible if Fans Demand It

When Bandai Namco and Arc System Works announced Dragon Ball FighterZ for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One – many Nintendo Switch fans were questioning whether or not they were being left in the dust. Speculation circling what is preventing the game from coming to the Switch arose, but now we’ve learned a Switch version is still possible.

The news comes via the game’s producer, Tomoko Hiroki, who confirmed the Nintendo Switch can definitely handle the game – they just aren’t planning on a Switch version at the moment.

“I do not know who told you that, but there is really no question of power. We did not really encounter any difficulty with the Switch version of Xenoverse 2,” Hiroki said in an interview with Gameblog.fr.

“I will say that if we continue to receive requests from fans, we will manage to create a Switch version as well. The latter may not come out at the same time as the others, but we might consider it.”

Make sure you let Arc System Works and Bandai Namco know if you want a Switch version for Dragon Ball FighterZ! In case you missed it – we recorded exclusive, hands-on gameplay for the game, complete with our commentary on how it plays and feels. You can find that here.
