Dragon Ball FighterZ Release Set for February 2018, CollectorZ Edition Revealed

Bandai Namco has announced the release window for Dragon Ball FighterZ.

The Arc System Works-developed fighting game will launch sometime next February across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One – news confirmed at this year’s Gamescom in Germany.

Featured above, a new trailer was revealed for the game, which features the recently confirmed fighters Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Super Saiyain Blue Vegeta, Android 16, Android 18, and even Piccolo and Krillin.

You’ll also get a look at the game’s story mode, which Bandai Namco left a teaser for: “With the resurrection of Android 16 and the invasion of the mysterious army corps, the super warriors starts to fall. What is happening?” The game’s “Party Match” mode was also unveiled, which enables up to six player to all fighter one another online in a three-on-three battle.

A swanky Dragon Ball FighterZ “CollectorZ Edition” will also be coming to both North America and Europe. It includes:

  • A copy of Dragon Ball FighterZ
  • 18cm Goku diorama with an exclusive “Manga Dimension” coloring
  • Three art boards
  • Exclusive SteelBook
  • A CollectorZ box to house all the items listed above

Pre-orders will get you early access to the game’s open beta, as well as an early unlock for Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, and finally two exclusive in-game lobby avatars.
