Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm is teaming up with Skybound Entertainment to potentially make a new TV show.

Beahm has signed a deal (via The Hollywood Reporter) with the Robert Kirkman-led (AMC’s The Walking Dead) production company to potentially take his character, Dr Disrespect, to your television.

According to the deal, Beahm and Skybound will craft a scripted narrative television series based on Beahm’s Dr Disrespect character. The series will reportedly focus on “how the doctor became the doctor,” an origin story of sorts for his Twitch.tv persona.

Beahm said the show is “pretty early in terms of creative and the direction we want to take it,” but also mentioned there have been “some early discussions around animation.”

Further details weren’t confirmed as the show is still in the early phases of production. Beahm noted he is focusing on his main gig – livestreaming.
