Square Enix have released another two videos for their upcoming arcade fighting game, School of Ragnarok, and you can watch them both below. No launch date has been announced for the game yet, but we do know it will be available to play in Japanese arcade halls in “2015”.

Tutorial video

The tutorial takes viewers through the entire process, from character creation to god selection to step-by-step input commands for each action.

Apparently the fighters have stamina bars in the game. Special attacks can be executed by the fighter if they capture specific points in an arena, which will fill the special attacks’ gauges. Yet another gauge, when filled, allows players to summon a previously mentioned special weapon associated with their god, which lasts only for a certain amount of time. Gods appear to have cooldown timers on their abilities, so players can only use them occasionally. We see that different outfits grant the characters different bonuses, too.

Smile Girl vs. Ivor de Dacart

In the previous video, it was Balharades (or Valhallades; translating Japanese to English is tricky) who was up against Smile Heart. This time it’s Ivor de Dacart. (Does he look like a cowboy vampire to anyone else?) Enjoy.
