Double Dragon IV Now Available in the West, Delayed in Japan for PS4

Arc System Works has released Double Dragon IV for both PC and PlayStation 4.

The game was published digitally via Steam and the PlayStation Store. While the PC release happened in Japan, Japanese PlayStation 4 users will have to wait a bit longer, as “unforeseen circumstances” have forced them to delay the Japanese console version indefinitely.

Fans can expect similar visuals seen in the original games, however there will be new mechanics added into the mix. It’s worth mentioning every game mode can be played with two players. You can find the game here on Steam and here on the PlayStation Store.

Most of the original staff that worked on the original arcade game were on this project, including: director Yoshihisa Kishimoto, character designer Koji Ogata, programmer Kei Oyama, composer Kazunaka Yamane, and producer Takaomi Kaneko.

Expect our review for Double Dragon IV forthcoming.
