MAPPA have announced information about the anime adaption of Dorohedoro.
Dorohedoro will first broadcast on January 12th on Tokyo MX. It will debut on Japanese Netflix prior to the first broadcast.
The original manga by Q Hayashida saw the post-apocalyptic city of “the Hole”, where Sorcerers kidnap people freely and use them in horrific experiments in the black arts.
After “Caiman” has been mutated into a reptile-like creature by a sorcerer, he seeks him out (along with his friend Nikaidō) to regain his memory and get revenge- slaughtering every Sorcerer he comes across until he finds the right one. The manga debuted in 1999, with it’s final 28th issue shipping November 2018.
