Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer id Software announced DOOM: The Dark Ages DLC “Revelations” alongside an update.

The new “Revelations” downloadable content is launching on July 7th alongside the free “Ripatorium 3.0” update.

Here’s a rundown on the new content, plus a trailer:

Revelations introduces a whole new dimension of combat: The all-new deadly Chain Spear offers returning Slayers a uniquely satisfying combat system – one that rewards mastery with enhanced power and mobility. Featuring new levels with deeper puzzles, new demons, and new mysteries, the DLC delivers a breadth of new content for players to experience.  

Along with Revelations comes the Ripatorium 3.0 update, free for all existing players. This update adds deeper customization, improved pass code generation, and saving + loading personal presets. Premium Edition or Collectors Bundle owners can access 3 new maps, new demons, and fully upgraded new weapons after completing the DLC. 

DOOM: The Dark Ages has been available since May 2025 for Windows PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Game Pass. Get our review here!
