The upcoming second season of Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro will premiere in January as part of the Winter 2023 anime season.
The second season was originally announced late last year after the success of its first season. Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro is a romantic comedy similar in tone to Uzaki-chan Wants to Play. Nagatoro is a confident underclassman who constantly teases her nerdy senior known only as Senpai throughout the series. The teasing varies in tone from flirtatious to cruel, but it might be that Nagatoro hides hidden feelings for her bashful Senpai.

You can read the plot summary from English publisher Vertical below.
Nagatoro is a freshman in high school who loves teasing and torturing her older male classmate (Senpai).
What is her motivation and why does Senpai put up with her?
Does Nagatoro just want to create misery for Senpai? Or maybe she secretly likes him?
The series was the subject of a controversy regarding its use of the word “sus” in its English subtitles and sparked a conversation about the place English colloquialisms have in Japanese translations.
