Klei Entertainment has recently put their Tim Burton-esque survival game, Don’t Starve, on the Playstation 4, making it the only console to receive the game outside of its PC release. Naturally, fans that only own other platforms are wondering if they can expect the game on them as well.
It seems that since a lot of fans are playing Don’t Starve via remote play on the Playstation Vita, this has piqued the interest of Klei, so much so that they are actually investigating porting the game natively to the platform. In an interview with Edge, Don’t Starve community manager Corey Rollins had this to say:
“Currently, a lot of people play Don’t Starve: Console Edition using the PS4′s remote play, and really enjoy it. So we’re looking into a proper Vita release. As for iOS and mobile, that is something we’ve also been investigating and we think might work, but it’s not at the front of our development priorities right now. It’s still on our radar, though.”
So there you have it. If you already got the game for free on Playstation 4, would you double dip on Vita or mobile?
