    Nintendo has confirmed Donkey Kong Bananza is being developed by the same team as Super Mario Odyssey.

    The confirmation that the new Donkey Kong game is being made by the very same folks behind Super Mario Odyssey comes from media previews for the game.

    “The development team of Donkey Kong Bananza is the same as for Super Mario Odyssey,” a Nintendo rep said during the event.

    This means the game was produced by Nintendo Entertainment Planning & Development Division (Nintendo EPD), the largest internal development group at the company.

    Donkey Kong Bonanza is in development for Nintendo Switch 2 and is set to launch on July 17th for $69.99.
