Publisher Live Wire has announced a surprise port for DoDonPachi True Death on Nintendo Switch coming this month.
DoDonPachi True Death will launch for Nintendo Switch (via the eShop) on December 19th, and will only have Japanese language support.
Originally developed by Cave and released back in 2012 for Japanese arcades, it is the sixth entry in Cave’s DonPachi series of shoot ’em ups titles. A region-free Xbox 360 port was released in 2013, and the game later got an enhanced definitive version, DoDonPachi True Death EXA Label worldwide, on the exA-Arcadia arcade platform in 2020.
