DIY Virtual Music Idol Game “Showmaker” Announced for PC and HTC Vive

Acttil and Preapp Partners have announced Showmaker for PC and HTC Vive.

The new game is a DIY music idol suite focused on user-generated content, and it will launch with the Vocaloid character Miss Monochrome. A worldwide release is set for sometime this winter via Steam, with English, Japanese, and Chinese language options.

Showmaker will let you become a virtual music producer and program every element of your live stage performances however you want. You can also experience your creations in VR for a more lively home experience. Showmaker connects users worldwide as both producers and fans, allowing you to create even bigger and better shows along with them!

If you’re at this year’s Anime Expo, Miss Monochrome creator Yui Horie will be in attendance from July 1st to the 4th for a concert and the first virtual reality demo of the game. Here’s a schedule:

  • Miss Monochrome Concert – July 2 at 6:00 PM Pacific
  • Yui Horie Panel – July 3 at 6:00 PM Pacific
