Larian Studios’ Kickstarter campaign for Divinity: Original Sin 2 has come to a close, and the developer has raked in just over $2 million in crowdfunding.
In total, they earned $2,032,434 via Kickstarter and roughly $43,000 via PayPal. This is roughly four times the amount originally asked in their $500,000 funding goal, to bring the game to PC. The game was funded within a day, forcing the developer to come up with stretch goals quickly.
Backers have unlocked all of the game’s stretch goals, with the last of which being a Game Master mode. Larian Studios has even gotten the help of legendary game designer and creator Chris Avellone to work on the game as a contributor.
