Dissidia Final Fantasy NT January 30 Update Announced

Square Enix has announced a day-one update for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.

The update will launch in Japan on January 30th alongside the game’s western release in North America and Europe. It remains unclear if this update is included in the western release or if we’ll get a day-one update.

Here’s the entire list of changes in the update:

  • New languages added. English voices and subtitles for each language (English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish) can be selected.
  • Circle and X can be switched in the control settings in the Options menu.
  • L1 / R1 and L2 / R2 can be switched in the control settings in the Options menu.
  • P.LV and C.LV experience points and Gil can be obtained in Room Matches.
  • A larger amount of Gil will be given when clearing battles.
  • If you disconnect with an opponent before the pre-battle Briefing screen, there’s no longer a penalty.
  • Offline Class level can be raised more easily.
  • When matched up with an opponent, their online ID will be hidden in the voice chat list – after which it will be displayed in the Briefing screen.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is now available for PlayStation 4 in Japan, while its North American and European release is set for January 30th.
