Disgaea 7 western release dates set for October

Disgaea 7

NIS America has announced western release dates for Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless.

The latest in their flagship strategy RPG series is launching on October 3rd in North America, October 6th in Europe and October 13th in Oceania. Disgaea 7 will be available on PC (via Steam), Switch, PS4, and PS5.

A big limited edition is still available for pre-order over on the NIS America online store – it includes physical copies of the game, plushies, and more.

Lastly, NIS America will host an AMA (ask me anything) with Disgaea 7 director Shunsuke Minowa on June 7th at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET over on the r/JRPG subreddit.

Here’s a rundown on the game, plus a new story trailer:

To Hell, With Honor

The demonic realm of Hinomoto is changing and the days of noble warriors are numbered. Caught up in the commotion, the lazy warrior Fuji and bushido fangirl Pirilika find unlikely allies in each other as they fight against a tyrannical regime while discovering the meaning of honor and redemption!

Embark on an epic SRPG adventure stuffed to the brim with new features including Jumbification, Hell Mode, Item Reincarnation, new and improved auto-battle, and online ranked battles! You can even customize your own team with a robust roster of over 40 character classes. Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless is bigger and better than ever!

Features

  • Combat to the MAX: Battle is better than ever with new features such as Hell Mode and Item Reincarnation. Then harness the new power of Jumbification, which lets your characters grow to supersized proportions and inflict larger than life damage!
  • Allies in Arms: The combat potential is limitless with over 40 character classes including four brand-new additions: Maiko, Bandit, Zombie Maiden, and Big Eye!
  • A Warrior’s World: Inspired by feudal Japan, the setting of Disgaea 7 draws its roots from ancient and modern history and beautifully tells a tale of redemption.
