Indie developer KAIJIUUUUU has announced Direland, a new survival sandbox game that’s best described as Terraria meets Monster Hunter.
Direland is in development for Windows PC (via Steam), though a release date wasn’t announced. Updates will be posted on the developer’s Twitter/X account.
The game is being developed by a lone developer, who says because of this the game’s progress is “incredibly slow”, though it’s being made somewhat as a hobby.
Here’s a rundown on the game, plus its reveal trailer:
Direland is a sandbox survival crafting RPG set in a vast, hostile world. You wake up in an unfamiliar room, deep within a remote land.
With no memory of who you are, you’re given only the bare essentials to survive. From here, your journey is entirely your own.
