The annual DICE summit is rapidly approaching, and it seems like the lineup of guest speakers just keeps getting better.
The line up of speakers are now joined by Keiji Inafune, famed Mega Man pioneer and president of Comcept, Vlambeer’s Rami Ismail, the founder of Oculus Rift Palmer Luckey and CEO Brendan Iribe, and the CEO of CCP Games Hilmar Veigar Petursson.
Petursson is revisiting his talk from the previous DICE summit, “The Human Brain is the Platform – Gaming in the Golden Age.” In this presentation, Petursson will discuss the advancements of technology and their role in making the human mind the best platform for gaming. He will also go over how our perceptions of reality have changed over time, and how new technology blurs the lines between what is real today and what could be real tomorrow.
This new group of speakers will be joining the composer for Journey, Austin Wintory, Steve Gaynor of The Fullbright Company, former thatgamecompany producer and Funomena founder Robin Hunicke, and the founder and CEO of Major League Gaming, Sundance DiGiovanni.
This year’s Dice Summit is taking place in Las Vegas from February 4th to the 6th.
