Lots of info for Diablo IV keeps trickling out from post-launch support to unlockables – recently fans got confused over how they unlock mounts in the game.
A new blog post was published that confusingly said you had to beat the entire game once to unlock mounts for your Battle.net account.
Throughout the game’s pre-release the requirements for mounts have reportedly changed a few times, so much so it was unclear what you had to do to unlock them – even if you played the beta (which limited you from them).
Coming from this, it makes sense that Blizzard once again changed this once people started noticing this silly requirement – later Diablo IV general manager Rod Fergusson and Blizzard president Mike Ybarra both confirmed this was a mistake.
Now, it’s officially official – you just have to complete that one questline to unlock mounts while you progress through the main storyline.
Once you beat that questline and the mounts are unlocked, you’ll have mounts available for all future game modes and characters you roll in the game.
