Diablo IV has announced a new Vitreous Scourge mount that comes bundled with 7000 platinum (premium currency).
The whole bundle costs $64.99 meanwhile the Ultimate Edition of Diablo IV is currently on sale for $59.99 and may remain that way since the game is coming up on a year old in just a few months.

It’s worth mentioning that the 7000 platinum can be bought for about $64 USD (thanks WoWHead for doing that math), so a more optimistic player could just consider the horse as a little bonus.
The game has been brought up now and then, especially in the context of Microsoft’s recent acquisition of Activision-Blizzard. At the time, then Blizzard president Mike Ybarra claimed there were no plans to bring Diablo IV to Xbox Game Pass, but with this sort of aggressive monetization maybe they should reconsider?
Diablo IV has been available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Battle.net and Steam). Check out our review here!
