The Diablo IV beta has been ongoing and users that complete its main story can get an exclusive Wolf Pup cosmetic item.
The Wolf Pup is actually a backpack cosmetic item, and will apparently be only obtainable from the game’s beta. The item, shown above and below, is a little napsack that has an adorable wolf puppy napping away, seemingly protected from the horrors of the world..
How to unlock the Wolf Pup in Diablo IV
Players that reach level 20 with any character will get the “Early Experience” achievement, which unlocks the Wolf Pup. It’s worth noting, however, the Wolf Pup isn’t unlocked for players until the full game launches this summer.

Permanent Unlocks from the Diablo IV Beta
The Diablo IV beta will let players unlock the aforementioned Wolf Pup when reaching level 20 with any character, however there are some other exclusive rewards for players that got their start early. There are two Titles that can be unlocked from progressing through the game’s introductory storyline.
The first title, “Initial Casualty”, is unlocked by reaching the first major town of Kyovasahad. This is reached quite early on in the main story so it’s not really difficult for players to acquire this. The other title, “Early Voyager”, is also reached when hitting level 20 with any character.
The game’s big open beta has been run in two blocks: for pre-orders from March 17th to the 19th and then for everyone from March 24th through the 26th – check out our thorough preview for the beta here!
Diablo IV is set to launch on June 6th, 2023 across Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.
