There’s a lot to expect for the fourth season of Diablo Immortal, such as the new Helliquary bosses and Inner Light Battle Pass.
Diablo Immortal Season 4 is finally here, and with it comes a host of new improvements, features, and bug fixes. Some new features include a new Battle Pass to level up, multiple limited-time events, and a mighty Helliquary boss to go head-to-head with.
The fourth season officially kicked off when it launched on September 1, but if you’re late to the news, we’re more than happy to give you a rundown of what you can expect besides Diablo Immortal Platinum:
Diablo Immortal’s Season 4 Battle Pass: Inner Light
Like standard protocol, there are two premium versions of Diablo Immortal’s Battle Pass that you can upgrade to for the entire season if you want to unlock more exclusive rewards for your Diablo Immortal account. These are the Empowered Battle Pass and Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass.
This season’s Battle Pass, Inner Light, showcases 40 ranks worth of rewards and challenges, including (but not limited to) Crests, Legendary Gems, Hilts, and more. Should you purchase the Empowered Battle pass version of Inner Light, you can unlock the Empowered track, which offers benefits at each rank besides all the rank rewards from the free standard Battle Pass. Moreover, you’ll also get the Inner Light Weapon cosmetic (unlocks at rank 1) and Inner Light Armor cosmetic (unlocks at level 40).
If the rewards still aren’t enough for you, the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass gives you access to all cosmetics and rank rewards from the Empowered Battle Pass. You’ll get additional goods such as the Inner Light Avatar Frame, a ten-rank boost, and a Portal cosmetic—all provided with gusto after you upgrade. Note that the Inner Light Battle Pass will only be available until September 29.
New Events Await You
You’ll be pleased to hear that many events await when you start Diablo Immortal Season 4. First up, there’s the Hungering Moon event, where you must fulfill the moon’s request. In doing so, you’ll earn moon flakes (also known as Moonslivers) which you can exchange for Blessings. When you’ve accumulated 7 Blessings, you can exchange them for rewards. If you’re brave enough to embark on a journey to satisfy the moon’s hunger for your blood, the Hungering Moon event will be available for all players from September 9 to 12.
Then there’s the Scorched Sea limited-time event. From September 14 to 28, you can complete daily Scorched Sea tasks and receive rewards for your heroic deeds. If you rack up enough completed tasks, you’ll be able to unlock milestone rewards. These rewards include the Scorched Sea Portrait Frame.
Finally, we have the Mists of Cyrangar event. If you complete all the tasks for this event from September 21 to 30, you’ll net yourself a bounty of rewards. We recommend that you pay special attention to the imagery on the event page. That’s because as you slowly complete each task, the mist from the image will slowly clear up; this will reveal a hint allegedly tied to the first significant update for Diablo Immortal.
When the Mists of Cyrangar event is active, you’ll receive an experience buff if you’re below the Server Paragon Level to get ready for the awaited release of Diablo Immortal’s colossal content update.
Gishtur and Beledwe: The Newest Helliquary Bosses
When discussing new gameplay content for Diablo Immortal, having a new Helliquary boss is one of the main highlights of the fourth season. And they come in two flavors! The latest Helliquary bosses to pose a threat to the Sanctuary are Gishtur and Beledwe. Born in Hell, the two men are gifted with the talent to create deadly weapons that can paint the battlefield red. As they fuel the flames of the Hellforge and fuse souls and flesh in the Felsteel foundry they operate, the evil pair use the best weaponry in battle.
Gishtur uses a massive, spiky blade and can launch himself into a frantic whirlwind to close any gaps. Meanwhile, Beledwe opts for a trident that’s been laced with the flames of Hell, and he utilizes it by summoning blazing orbs that will seek you out. Oh, and did we mention he can create meteor strikes too?
If you want to fight the duo, you must first form a team of adventurers, help Rayek, and have a Combat Rating of at least 4665. If you manage to lay Gishtur and Beledwe to rest, you can receive their remnants: the Twin Horns. By wearing the Twin Horns, you can reduce the cooldown of your skills inside Challenger Rifts by 10%.
QoL Updates
You’ll be happy to know that Blizzard has listened to the complaints of their users and has now inserted a lock button feature for the Legendary Gem tooltips. This will prevent you from accidentally consuming a gem while upgrading it. In addition, a new Wing Slot has been added to the Inventory Cosmetics interface; wearing or getting new outfits after equipping the Resonance Wings will no longer remove it by default.
More to Expect Down the Line
That’s about it! These are all the details about Diablo Immortal Season 4 for now. Blizzard has yet to provide any concrete information regarding potential new Legendary Gems, Diablo Immortal items, class balance updates, and more for now. At the very least, we can expect more updates down the line.
Diablo Immortal has been fully available since June 2022 on Windows PC as well as infamously on smartphones, on both iOS (via the App Store) and Android (via Google Play).
