Diablo II: Resurrected Patch 2.4 is Diablo II’s First Patch in 11 Years

Diablo II: Resurrected Patch 2.4

Diablo II: Resurrected is receiving a long awaited game patch bringing it up to snuff. Diablo II: Resurrected Patch 2.4 comes complete with re-introducing ladder rank play and more, the first update for the game in over a decade.

The Diablo II: Resurrected Patch 2.4 also adds new rune words only available during online ladder play, tons of class tweaks, and fixes to enable maximum customization with whatever build you so choose.

Balance and optimization is the focal point of this humongous patch. We’re looking forward to journeying once more into the breach to summarily hand Baal’s ass to him with a well-placed stab to the temple from a Necromancer’s golem summon.

Diablo II: Resurrected Patch 2.4

I still remember the first time I played Diablo and Diablo II on my cousin’s PC in his dorm room back in ’98-’99. It was so wild to be able to dive into the fight of good versus evil, a tale as old as time itself. The depth of the graphics, lore, character design, and gameplay was on another level.

This time during the 90s as a whole, was arguably the golden age of videogames. Final Fantasy VII had just dropped on PlayStation 2-3 years prior, ushering in an era of amazing visuals, captivating universes, and unforgettable games. Truly a great time to be a newbie gamer and veteran alike. Good times.

Not long after this post goes live, the Blizzard community manager and devs will be doing a live stream of the update with popular Diablo II streamer MrLlamaSC. You can catch the live stream today at 2 pm EST on his Twitch channel!

We might even come through and drop a few poggers in the chat just to share our enthusiasm as well! You guys excited about this Diablo II: Resurrected Patch 2.4? Let us know in the comments below.
