Thekla have confirmed that development on The Witness is finally being wrapped up.

“Just wanted to do a quick post saying that we are all working hard on the game, figuring out some of the last unknowns and polishing things up,” Thekla’s Orsi Spanyol said. “We are definitely in finish-the-game mode, that’s why the posts have gotten more rare.”

A release date is still unconfirmed, but Spanyol shared the above screenshot of the finalized hub area, which we saw earlier this year.
