Wyrmbyte has released a new dev diary discussing some of the powers players will get to use in their upcoming open-world action game, Ashes of Oahu.

Ashes of Oahu is set in a post-apocalyptic Hawaii, where the ancient gods of the island have reawaked. You play as Kai, a warrior that can gain the favor of the gods by activating shrines scattered across the island. Some of these powers include the ability to deflect bullets, manipulate lava, and shapeshift into a bird or shark.

Here’s a rundown on the game:

Ashes of Oahu is an open world, story driven shooter where you work with or against the surviving factions of a post apocalyptic Hawaii.

Ashes of Oahu is coming to Windows PC via Steam sometime later this year.
