Destiny 2 has announced that their annual holiday event “The Dawning” is now live for all players.

The event includes new environmental toys and mechanics, as well as some new gear that will actually make a difference in normal play. Players can get their fill from now until February 28th, 2023.

Throughout the course of The Dawning, Destiny 2 players can complete quests and unlock special seasonal rewards like new cosmetics and emotes. Rewards include baking holographic cookies, but more importantly a new Legendary Pulse Rifle and a new Sparrow skin that can be unlocked while playing through the event.

Players just need to “unwrap” their event card and start earning progress for the seasonal objectives. You can check out the trailer for The Dawning here:

Destiny 2 has been available on Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and I guess Stadia.
