Sega have released the post-launch update gameplay trailers for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles.
As previously reported, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga (and game it is based upon) takes place in a historical fantasy version of Taisho-era Japan. Tanjiro Kamado is the child of charcoal sellers, and is out selling his families wares when they are attacked by demons.
By the time he returns home, his parents are dead and his sister has been corrupted. In order to save his sister and defeat the demon that killed his parents, Tanjiro gets himself recruited by Giyu Tomioka into the Demon Slayer Corps.
The new trailers show off the content that will be coming to the game after launch; namely being able to play as the demons of the Twelve Kizuki and their underlings in Versus mode. Post-launch Update #1 will launch between the end of October and the start of November, while Post-launch Update #2’s launch date was not specified at this time.
