We’ve learned (via Game.Watch) that Japanese studio Artdink is planning a playable demo for Neo Atlas 1469.

The news was confirmed via game director Youichi Yamaguchi, who teased the demo at a recent hands-on event for the game. The new demo will be made available in Japan.

A release date for the demo wasn’t confirmed, however Yamaguchi said that you’ll be able to play through to the Cape of Good Hope region, upon which you’ll see the end of the demo and be treated to a beautiful scene. You can also transfer your save data to the full game.

Neo Atlas 1469 is launching for PS Vita on October 27th in Japan.
