This week’s Famitsu magazine has revealed an out-of-the-blue Playstation Vita game from Japanese developer Acquire.
The new game, titled Zettai Geigeki Wars: Metropolis Defenders, (featured above) is a strategy game where you control an entire city, and you’re put in charge of defending its citizens against gigantic enemies.
You’ll have a bunch of special abilities and tools at your disposal as the commander of the city. A special resource known as “Altanite” is in low supply with the humans, and your goal is to protect that remaining supply.
The circular city can be defended by using various support characters, with the first two being confirmed:
- Touwa (voice is by M.A.O.) – Second in commander
- Lovelock (voice is by Toshiyuki Toyonaga) – Overseer of the guns
A release date wasn’t announced, but we’ll keep you guys posted.
