Deep Silver has confirmed their roster of games for Gamescom 2014.

While they’re showcasing their previously confirmed titles like Risen 3: Titan Lords and Sacred 3, they’re also showing off the first playable build of Dead Island 2.

One of the coolest facts from their presser is the note that over a 150 gaming stations will be available for patrons to utilize.

Here’s the list of games:

Dead Island 2 (Open World Action-RPG, deadisland.com)
The zombie apocalypse has hit the iconic, sunny realms of California. Building on the strengths of the multi-million best-selling hit Dead Island, Dead Island 2 delivers a shared survival, open-world zombie experience set in a clash of natural beauty and bloody horror and violence: paradise meets hell once again! Developed by award-winning studio YAGER, it combines the classic Dead Island elements of immersive close combat, action and role-playing with crazy, never-before-seen handcrafted weapons and over-the-top characters.

Metro Redux (First-Person-Shooter, enterthemetro.com)
Metro Redux is the ultimate double game collection, including the definitive versions of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, each rebuilt in the latest and greatest iteration of the 4A Engine for next-gen consoles and PC. For the first time, console owners can expect smooth 60FPS gameplay and state of the art visuals that were once only available on high-end PC hardware.

Risen 3: Titan Lords (RPG, risen.deepsilver.com)
Risen 3: Titan Lords is the newest opus by iconic German developers Piranha Bytes, the inventors of the cult Gothic series. The key element of the Gothic series as well as the Risen series is the vivid world and the freedom to explore it. The world of Risen 3: Titan Lords will be diverse, authentic and full of life – providing the player with an authentic, classic RPG experience.

Sacred 3 (Arcade Hack ‘n’ Slash, sacred-world.com)
Sacred 3 features classic arcade Hack ‘n’ Slash action centered around drop-in, drop-out cooperative multiplayer for both offline (2 players) and online (4 players) play. The game brings back fan-favourite characters such as the Seraphim, or the Safiri. Each character class features its own unique skills and weapons which can be upgraded to match the player’s very own combat style. As they master the art of war, players will fight their way through enemy hordes and try to outshine their fellow companions on their way to become the greatest hero of all.

Dead Island Epidemic (Zombie Online Multiplayer Battle Arena, playdie.net)
Dead Island: Epidemic will pit 3 teams of players against each other in a desperate fight for survival. Dead Island: Epidemic is a Free-to-Play PC title that will feature all the trademark elements that are part of a Dead Island experience.

Emergency 5 (Strategy, emergency5.deepsilver.com)
Emergency 5 is the next-level instalment of the renowned Rescue Strategy series. Featuring a brand new graphics engine and a mighty editor tool, Emergency 5 for PC will be taking players to the hottest rescue missions yet, leading firefighters, police and technical emergency services.

I’ve only worked on one game that’s had gamescom coverage maybe another in the future. Be nice to see how Dead Island 2 is handled with a different studio. considering Yager covered Spec Ops it could be really interesting. I’ve played and enjoyed the previous Sacred titles. But I’ve heard some funky press reguarding he current title will probably still get it at somepoint.
