Deep Rock Galactic – How to get MK6 Armor and Year Six Party Hat

Deep Rock Galactic MK6 Hat

Deep Rock Galactic‘s anniversary celebration brings a a whole new set of armors, as well as a goofy new hat to celebrate six years of rocking and stoning.

As is usual with Deep Rock Galactic‘s anniversary events, players will be treated to a new time-limited cosmetic. This time, a top hat made entirely out of balloons, with a shiny golden six in the middle.

The year six party hat will be unlocked by completing the anniversary bonus assignment, and is not scheduled to come back to the game after the event ends, so you better not miss this opportunity.

The most interesting part of this year’s event, however, is the early addition of the MK6 armor set. Players will be able to access this new cosmetic tier of armors early by completing a set of experimental trials, giving you permanent access to new cutting edge equipment.

The armor will eventually make its way into the accessory shop as soon as season 5 starts, but the assignments present an opportunity to not only get it early, but also for free.

You can take an early look at the armor sets in this video published by Ghost Ship Games’ official YouTube channel:

The usual anniversary perks will also be in full effect during the celebration, like free beer at Bosco’s bar, and party decorations across the entire space rig, after all, surviving a year under Deep Rock Galactic‘s management is definitely cause for celebration.

Players will also able to find a shiny year 6 anniversary trophy while out on missions, which will double your experience gained for the assignment, so keep an eye out for a massive golden trophy whenever you’re exploring.

Deep Rock Galactic‘s year six anniversary event is set to run from February 28th at 13:00 CET, until March 14th at 13:00 CET. Be there or be a leaf lover.

Deep Rock Galactic is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S and Microsoft Windows (Through Steam).
