Not allowing us to go more than a week without new images of Zestiria, Namco Bandai has released a direct feed video on their youtube channel showing off the late generation beauty of their next Tales mothership title.

The video is the same that was shown at the reveal of Zestiria, but until now we’ve only had shakycam recordings from fans to watch.

Reports seem to indicate that Hideo Baba & company are aware of the repetitive/small worlds of Graces as well as the more “subdued” combat in Xillia and plan to fix that in Zestiria. Fan feedback has been taken seriously and apparently has led to a much better battle system.

This should mean we’ll go back to the days when Mystic Arts could (and were) used multiple times in short succession and the combat AI was smart enough to do more than turtle in the corner with the block button.

If anything, the graphics are certainly looking like the best we’ve seen in the series so far. Another reason to hold onto those PS3s!
