Shaquille O’Neal and developer Big Deez Productions have revealed the debut trailer for Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn at The Game Awards 2015 last night.
Featured above, you can view the trailer – which shows off a mix of story bits, cinematics, and in-engine gameplay. Big Deez Productions liken the game as “Street Fighter meets Devil May Cry,” or “a modern day take on the classic beat ’em up.”
Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn is a crowdfunded successor to the infamous Sega Gensis and Super Nintendo game Shaq Fu. The team working on the game includes veterans from series like Halo, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, and Alan Wake.
Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn is planned for a release across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
